Lani is currently an English/Language Arts teacher with the Westerville City School District in Westerville, Ohio. She practices formative assessment, differentiated instruction, and sound grading practices in her classroom.
As an ELA department facilitator, Meyers works with staff members on developing and understanding the practice of formative and summative assessments in their own classrooms. She has also been involved in creating the Literacy Framework for the district to align the district's language arts curriculum to the Ohio Academic Standard.
Lani holds a M.A. in Teaching and learning from Nova Southeastern University and received her B.A. in Elementary Education from The Ohio State University. She is certified to teach grades 1-8.
